Mark Kestner brings over 18 years of diversified experience in design, management, and technology to the table as part of the new generation of AHK leadership. His area of focus includes complex new designs in historic and infill context as well as a passion for custom residential projects of all scales. Mark is committed to client satisfaction and strives to develop strong collaborative relationships early on to ensure a good foundation for all project types. Maintaining a sensitivity to budget and schedule while ensuring project quality and long term value is a top priority.
His portfolio spans a range of project types in the United States and abroad, including mixed use complexes, commercial office buildings, multi-family residential towers and private custom residences, with an excess of $100M dollars in completed projects to his credit.
Mark participated and managed numerous distinguished and notable projects such as The Hershey Country Club in Hershey, Pennsylvania and The Forest Hills Mountain Golf Clubhouse in Hiroshima, Japan during his experience with AHK's precursor Atwood Architects.
Currently Mr. Kestner is the project architect for "Waterhouse", a $20M mixed use project under construction in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia.
