With this belief, William Atwood founded Atwood Architects, Inc. in 1980. For the past 29 years, Atwood Architects has provided innovative architecture and planning solutions for resort, residential and commercial projects worldwide.

With a special focus on the golf and resort industries, Atwood Architects has designed golf clubhouses and country clubs up and down the East Coast, from Florida to New Jersey. In 1996, Atwood had the privilege of designing a golf clubhouse and wellness center in Hiroshima, Japan.

At Atwood Architects, we provide hands-on guidance from start to finish in all phases of architecture: business development, programming and feasibility studies, master planning, space planning and interiors, building design and construction documentation, and project management.

With our head office in Charlottesville, Virginia, Atwood Architects also maintains a satellite office in Greensboro, Georgia.
